Learn to sail catamarans on this weekend introduction to exhilarating world of multi-hull sailing. Over the weekend we aim to cover the following;

RYA Start Sailing (Level 1): This course introduces you to the fundamentals of sailing, including sailing up, down and across the wind, turning the boat and what to do in the event of a capsize.

Key learning points: Rigging, launching, landing, sailing in all directions, capsize recovery, safety information and basic sailing theory.

Our friendly instructors will be with you every step of the way, offering clear instruction, guidance and encouragement to make this an action-packed and unforgettable weekend.

The Next Steps: This weekend is a perfect introduction to multi-hull sailing. To progress your sailing further we recommend you joining your local sailing club to help consolidate what you have learnt. We do not run any improver courses based solely on catamarans, however you may want to try the full Learn to Sail week to give you the opportunity to try out some different types of dinghies.
