This weekend is the perfect follow up to the Senior Sea Paddling introductory weekend and will follow the general theme of the UKCC 3* Sea proficiency award (but without the rolling).

You will spend two full days out on the water, embarking on short journeys where you will be introduced to new skills such as towing, deck top navigation and working in tidal waters.

With a wealth of stunning paddling locations on offer, you will have the opportunity to paddle at a different location each day, and there may be the opportunity to apply and improve your skills in more challenging conditions, such as launching and landing through small surf and winds of up to 15mph.

This course is aimed at those aged 55years+

If you have any questions relating to your suitability for this course or a technical enquiry, please email Huw Jones huw.jones@sport.wales. Huw will endeavour to reply to your email as quickly as possible.
