This course is for those aspiring to blue water cruising and is ideal for holders of the yachtmaster offshore certificate who are preparing for their first ocean passage.

Previous Experience Required: RYA Yachtmaster certificate of competence for those intending to ultimately gain the RYA Yachtmaster ocean certificate of competence, otherwise a knowladge of navigation to RYA Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Offshore theory level. 

Course Content:  Celestial Navigation, Ocean meteorology, Ocean passage planning and yacht management.
