This RYA Professional Practices and Responsibilities (PPR) course is a compulsory course for anyone wanting to obtain a commercial endorsement for an RYA Certificate of Competence.
This RYA Professional Practices and Responsibilities (PPR) course is a compulsory course for anyone wanting to obtain a commercial endorsement for an RYA Certificate of Competence.
Candidates complete four modules and a mock assessment so they can check they are ready before moving onto the final graded online assessment.
It is estimated it will take you up to 8-10 hours to complete the course including the final assessment, however, as it is an online course you can complete it at whatever pace suits you.

The professional maritime world, correct manning, keeping skills up to date, safe management of commercial vessels, compulsory carriage and maintenance of safety equipment, creating and implementing risk control.

- You will then receive a booking confirmation email confirming your booking
- Within 48 hours you will receive a follow up email which contains your login details and a link to the RYA portal where you can complete the course
