Our Youth sessions offer children bags of fun, where they can make new friends and have the freedom to express themselves in a safe, supportive environment with first class care.
This is a half day kids Den Build & Bushcraft experience, designed for children from 8 years old, it's a good way to exercise and experience that sense of adventure.
What's included:
Get to grips with basic survival skills, including building a shelter in our den building area, lighting a fire in a safe environment whilst learning about the dangers of fire and fire safety, and of course have some fun and toast marshmellows!
They’ll get hands on having a go at using flints and cotton wool, as well as learning the science of lighting a fire and keeping it going.
You need no previous experience, just a sense of adventure!
Important:
An adult will need to remain on site for the duration and help aid kitting up and de-kitting at the start and end of the session.
Plas Menai will provide all necessary kit and personal protective clothing including helmets.
