Our range of Windsurf and Wingsurf and Foiling Instructor courses are designed to give participants the skills they need to teach at a variety of levels, helping participants embark on or further their careers in the outdoor industry.

 

The RYA Start Windsurfing Instructor course will cover the use of a simulator, on-water demonstrations and group teaching techniques. Upon completion, you’ll be qualified to teach the Start Windsurfing course and stages 1 and 2 of the Youth Windsurfing Scheme under the supervision of a senior instructor.

 

Experienced windsurfers and instructors can improve their personal sailing and teaching competence while gaining the skills necessary to teach higher level schemes and courses, with the RYA Intermediate and Advanced Windsurf Instructor courses. These instructor courses will enable participants to teach a broader selection of courses at high-performance windsurfing centres running RYA lessons.

 

One of our latest offerings, the five-day RYA Wingsurf/Wingfoil Instructor course prepares instructors to introduce the new and exciting world of winging to a larger audience in a safe and progressive manner. Combining on-water training and assessments with shore-based sessions covering teaching techniques, this course covers a mixture of practical and theory topics.
