This Instructor Development Week comprises the Safety Rescue course, 2 days skills and preparation followed by the Paddlesport Instructor.
The Paddlesports Safety and Rescue course is here to help you with simple strategies and safe skills that can provide the tools to solve common paddling problems that can happen in a sheltered water environment. This course replaces the FSRT and is a pre-requisite to the Paddlesport Instructor.
Explore Award is the two days used to consolidate skills, experience and get competent in a variety of craft and to prepare and build confidence ready for the Paddlesport instructor.
Paddlesport Instructor - The Paddlesport Instructor qualification is designed for instructors running paddlesport taster/starter sessions within the safety management systems of clubs, centres or other organisations in very sheltered environments and craft deemed suitable for a first time experience

Prerequisites - Full National Association membership
Course length - 5 days
Registration - Registration is a process for paddlers to attend a Padddlesport Instructor course to confirm you hold all of the pre requisites. You will need to access your membership portal and registar through the portal
